A typical quartet with various musical influences, Caravan has a repertoire that permanently moves from tsigane music to French "chanson" via swing, gypsy jazz, South American music, Argentinean tango, and famous themes from Eastern Europe.
Conniving on stage as in real life for many years, those four musicians passionately play a repertoire made of unforgettable standards from Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, George and Ira Gershwin, Benny Goodman, themes from Richard Galliano, Astor Piazzola, Santana, Henri Salvador, Charles Trenet, Georges Brassens... as well as some personal compositions.
The musicians of this band are known for performing with various local and national groups, of all styles, in the usual jazz and live music places as well as in more important events (jazz festivals, concerts…).
Caravan is also characterized by a drop of tenderness, a pinch of lyricism, a glassful of scat, a big touch of swing and, on top of that, a hint of humour.
